I commenced art instruction in the mid-nineties, enrolling at the Art Gallery of Ontario where I took weekly classes in watercolour. I have participated in workshops in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Mexico, receiving instruction from noted international artists. At the 2006 annual Aspotogan Arts and Crafts Association’s juried show, I was honoured with awards for Excellence in Oil and Best Use of Colour. My recent paintings using oil, acrylic and watercolour have been inspired by everyday surroundings. I am a member of The Aspotogan Arts and Crafts Association, VANS, and an associate member of CSPWC. My work is in homes in British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and England.             |
